New
biogenic reservoirs types in Devonian of Volyn–Podolia oil–and–gas bearing
region

Ivan
Franko National University of Lviv, Hrushevsky str. 4, UA – 79005 Lviv,
Ukraine
It is the first time, when new reservoirs biogenic
types in Devonian of Volyn– Podollia are described. They are initial moldic and
secondary biogenic cavernous. Their formation is the result of paleoorganisms life activity and postsedimentological
transformation of their skeletons and
inner parts.
Key words: reservois, paleoorganisms, Devonian, Volyn–Podollia, oil-and-gas
bearing region.
Indissoluble dispersed organics as criteria
of Volyn–Podillia Devonian–Carbouiferous complex oil–and–gas–bearing capacity
Ivan Franko National University of Lviv
Hrushevsky str. 4, UA – 79005 Lviv,
Ukraine
Geochemical
maturity level determination of Volyn–Podillia Devonian–Carboniferous complex
with palinoorictocenoses method is carried at first. By the concentration,
composition, quantitative ratio of indissoluble dispersed organics (IDO),
degree of preservation and palynomorphs color in Devonian–Carboniferous of the
Volyn–Podillia of the East–European platform there zones (from the West to the
East) can be singled out: the Western – is with anomalous composition of IDO;
the Central – is with very bad preservation of liptinites elements; and the
Eastern – is with the normal singling out of IDO.
Key words: indissoluble dispersed organics, oil-and-gas capacity, Devonian,
Carboniferous, Volyn–Podillia.

A detailed
paleontological investigation (by mollusks, foraminifers, ostracods) of
Tarkhanian-Chokrakian deposits of the territory has been carried out. For the first time shallow-water analogues
of Tarkhanian deposits that are simular to Tomakovka beds of the Ukrainian
shiels slope have been determinated for this region. The investigating region
was situated rather near the sound between the Eastern Paratethys of the
Chokrakian time and Mediterranean.

In the Lower
Carboniferous of Lviv-Volyn coal basin the foramenifers zones are distinguished
at the first time. There are six zones. They are rather close to the suites in
size. In cases when there was not enough material to distinguish zones, the
layers of Limestone with the complexes of foraminifera were singled out. The
stratotypes of zones are distinguished and their foraminifers characteristic
are given by layers together with pictures of the most characteristic forms.
All the
material is divided into three parts. In the first one the description of two
zones is given together with their stratotypes, correlation plates and also
some pictures of foraminifers. In this article the following zones are described: Endothyranopsis compressus–Archaediscus krestovnikovi-Eoparastafella (zone I) ňŕ Endothyranopsis crassus–Eostaffella proikensis (zone II).
Key words: Lviv-Volyn coal basin, Lower Carboniferous,
foramenifers zones, stratotype’s zones, correlation.
