Institute of Geological Sci., NAS Ukraine,
55-b, O. Gonchar Str. 01054 Kiev, Ukraine

Studying Devonian thin section from Lviv Paleozoic Depression there were some new for this region genus of algae revealed. This representats green algae, blue green algae and microproblematica. The fact is interesting that type of genus for all this algae were from far distant geological as my one described. Calcareous Devonian algae of the Lviv Paleozoic Depression (LPD) Umbellas were by Konoplina 1959 as Foraminiferas discribed. In same paper images of algae of Girvanella and Issinella devonica Reitlinger are also present. Most detailed calcareaes late Devonian algaes of this region are in monograph of О.І. Berchenko (2003) described. There are on the whole, 30 spicies belonging to 16 genera of blue green, green, red, charophyta algae as well microproblematics described.
An aim of this article is the report about first findings of such a species as Psuedolitanaia aquanigrae of Mamet et Preat, Nuia sibirica Maslov, Renalcis granulosus Vologdin, in the Devonian sedimentations of Lviv Paleozoic Depression. As the material for this article served thin sections made from the stippler of carbonate core exposed from boreholes 5447, 5468 bored in southern part of the Volyn area. This boreholes exposed the Famenian and Frasnian breeds of Devonian age. On the whole it was over 114 microsections examinated. Algaes described in the articles correspond to 14 thin sections and five samples of carbonat breed.

Institute of Geological Science of the NAS of Ukraine,
O. Gonchar st., 55 b, UA-01054, Kyiv, Ukraine

Involvement of sponges a new group of the fauna in stratification of Jurassic and Cretaceous sediments is especially important in those parts of the section, where for various reasons no representatives of ortostratygrafic fauna groups are present. To achieve this requires a detailed study of the elements of the of sponges skeleton, which are spicules is nessasery. The description of morphological features of spicules made it possible to determine the number of morfospecies, many of which at the first time in Jurassic and Cretaceous sediments of western and central platform part of Ukraine are found. This will be conduce to stratigraphical partition of Jurassic and Cretaceous sediments of western and central platform part of Ukraine. By natural classification this morfospecies relate to order of sponges Tetraxonida, suborder Desmophora and suborder Astrophora are attributed. It was 26 morfospecies belonging to 15 morforogenus monographicaly described.
Key words: sponges spicules, morfogenus, morfospecius, Callovian, Albian, Cenomanian.

GROUNDING THE AGE AND CORRELATION BY THE PLANKTONIC
MICROORGANISMS
Aida Andreyeva-Grigorovich, Ninel Maslun

Institute of Geological, National Academy of Science of Ukraine
55b, O. Gonchar St., 01001 Kiev, Ukraine

Regiostage division of the Carpathians and South Ukraine is given. For the tirst vtime the scale of regiostage division is proposed fof the Carpathian region basis of which is Rusychansky, Karpiisky and Ombronsky complexes (series) singled out by O.S.Vialov,
1971; O.S.Vialov and D.M.Andrusov,1961. On the grounds of the zone biostratigraphy by planktonic microorganisms the age of regiostages in the limits of the Carpathians and South Ukraine was fixed and correlation with the Paleogene horizons of adjacent Russia has been carried out. The limits and bulk of the regiostages and diachronism of the boundaries of the lithostratigraphic subsections were established by the correlation levels of the planktonic Foraminifera, nannoplankton and dynocysta. The lower boundary of Paleogene in the Carpathians and South region is grounded by three groups of plankton; the upper boundary is substantiated by three groups in the Carpathians, and in the South - by dynocysts and partly by the planktonic Foraminifera in the Maikopian edge facies; in deep water facies of the Azov - Black Sea region nannoplankton and Foraminifera are used.

NEW SPECIES OF ROTALITES (CORALS) FROM SILURIAN
PŘIDOLIAN SERIES OF VOLYN’ AND PODILLIA (UKRAINE)
Volodymyr Grytsenko

National Natural History Museum NAS of Ukraine
15, Bogdan Khmel’nitsky str., Kyiv-01601, Ukraine

The corals are best of fossils which important for Silurian stratigraphy and facies analyze. In the last years attention to study fossil corals was less then need. There are most visible in the rocks in contrast to microfossils and theirs study requires less timetable and money inputs. Přidolian corals were studied in the minimal degree. We hope that publication of new coral species description will first step to filling the gap of fossils distribution among Ludlovian and Přidolian where in Podillian referent section are occur formations (Isakivtsy and Prygorodok suites) without fossils. In what follows plan we will to give complete characteristic Podillian and adjacent Přidolian sections discovered by boreholes on base of coral distribution which samples are conserved in Geological museum NNHM NAS of Ukraine.

INTEGRATED APPROACH TO THE STUDYING
PALYNOLOGICAL REMNANTS OF THE CARBONIFEROUS OF THE
VOLHYNIAN-PODILIAN MARGIN OF THE EAST-EUROPEAN PLATFORM
Antonina Ivanina

Ivan Franko National University of Lviv,
Hrushevskij str. 4, UA – 79005 Lviv, Ukraine

The basis of facial–palynological studying of Carboniferous of Volhynian-Podilian margin of ancient East-European platform is palynoorictocenosis. It is complex of microfossils of vegetable, animal and problematic origin, buried under certain paleogeographical conditions and timed to the concrete facial type of the rocks. The palynoorictocenoses’ classification with singling out of five types and nine subtypes is worked out. Uneven distribution of palynoorictocenosis by facies and cyclic spreading in vertical section is established.
Key words: palynology, miospores, palynoorictocenosis, Carboniferous, Volyn-Podillia margin of ancient East-European platform.
