PROBLEMS OF THE SYMMETRY AND HOMOLOGY OF GEOLOGICAL BODIES

(on the example of the East-European platform`s basement)

K.I. Sveshnikov

Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, Hrushevsky Str. 4, 79005 Lviv

Å-mail:  sveshn@franko.lviv.ua

Symmetry (S) and homology are fundamental features of all natural bodies, but they are not examined enough for rocks and more complicated geological bodies. Three kinds of S are known: a) the S of the bodies` internal construction, b) the S of the bodies` localization in space, c) the S of their features changeability from the systematic point of view. The searches of the S require the comparison of the construction and localization peculiarities of the bodies, which are similar between themselves. Geological bodies may be regarded as similar if they belong to the same homological (isomorphic) line. The two first kinds of S are described on the examples from the Åast-European craton`s basement. It is supposed that the S of geological bodies depend on the symmetry of energetic flows that caused the origin of these bodies.

Key words: symmetry, homological line, geological body, internal construction, East-European craton`s basement, Early Precambrian, energetic flow.

Å-mail: geomin@geof.franko.lviv.ua

The results of the factology spatial modeling of endogenic fluid thermal paleofields within typical gold bearing deposits are presented. On the base of the distinguished paleofilds inconvertibility and asymmetric directivity of the mineralforming fluids, peculiarities of their functioning in the ore localization are confirmed. It is established that spatial variability of the thermometric characteristics based on the results of the fluid inclusions reflects the dynamic peculiarities and physical-chemical conditions that controlled migration of the mineralforming fluids. It is argued that enhanced gold concentrations (ore piles) were formed within areas of fluid flows with maxima variability of the thermometric indexes based on inclusions in minerals. The scheme of the determination of the move directions of the mineralforming fluids and the directions to their sources is described.

Key words: thermobarochemistry, modelling, inclusions fluids, gold.

Microscopic investigation of coal microsections, polished sections and polishedsections-briguettes showed the correlation signes of coal from different parts of seams. By complexes of correlation signs, their sections were divided into petrogenetic layers. A layer-by-layer correlation of the sections in the conditions of unbroken occurrence and also through the erosion zones of 1.6 km wide was carried out. The influence of erosion of peat-forming phytomass upon petrographic composition of coal, the reasons of changes in the thickness of the bed sections and the absence of petrogenetic layers were ascertained. The existing geological layer-by-layer synonymics of coal beds was verified as well as a new one was developed.

Mountainous Crimea Upper – Cretaceous deposits are presented by marls and limestones with interlayeres of the bentonite clays, flints and glauconite sandstones. Clayey part of the carbonaceous deposits and clays as was ascertained by X-ray analysis consists mainly of smectite with hydromica admixture, quartz, chlorite, feldspars and zeolites belonging to clinoptilolite-heylandite group. Smectite, glauconite and zeolite as was revealed have been formed in result of the volcanic ash halmyrolysis transported during late-cretaceous time by atmosphere and water flows into sedimentary basins of the Crimea.

Key words: Upper Cretaceous deposits mountainous Crimea, volcanic ash, halmyrolysis, smectite, zeolite, glauconite.

Preliminary thermometric and criometric investigations of the inclusions in quartz from granite-gneisses, migmatites and quartz veins in amphibolites from Lypniaz granite-gneissic structure (Kirovograd block) have been carried out.  High-pressure inclusions of the liquefied (liquid) nitrogen as was revealed are connected with secondary low-temperature aqueous solutions inclusions. This proves the participation of the heterogenous nitrogen-aqueous fluids in the late metamorphic transformation.

THE DISTINCTIONS OF MODELLING OF GEODYNAMICAL PROCESSES AND THERMODYNAMICAL characteristics
OF THE EARTH’S DEEP STRUCTURE

V.V. Fourman, O.M. Pavlyuk

Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, Hrushevskij Str. 4, UA – 79005 Lviv

E-mail: geomin@franko.lviv.ua

Modern physical and mathematical approaches in numerical modelling of geodynamical processes and their correlation with thermodynamical parameters of the deep Earth’s elements are analyzed based on the investigations of thermal convection in earth’s mantle. It is stressed that the tectonic plate theory is not complete while the numerical modelling of mantle convection and ocean lithosphere in its entirety gives good results. There are not general models which can self-consistently describe the breaking of the lithosphere on separate plates. It is very important to develop geodynamical models of the Earth’s structure defining corresponding state equations and flow equations for the fragments of mantle with big viscosity and inhomogeneous density distribution and nonlinear interaction with other fragments of the mantle and the crust. It is substantiated the importance and advisability of transition to generalized models of medium and processes which define the dependence of geophysical and geodynamical processes from thermodynamical parameters of the deep Earth’s elements and their role in the planet’s geological evolution, in the fundamental researches of the Earth. It is proved that it is necessary to consider generalized thermodynamical parameters of matter of the deep Åarth’s shells in the geodynamical models and calculations.

The main petrotypes of the formation are  basalts and rhythmites. Low- and moderate argillaceous, natrium, mesocratic basalts form two series.  First – there are normal and subalkalic moderate magnesium main magmatic rocks, second –  subalkalic moderate and hail magnesium (bonenints). The rhythmites presented by turbidites. Material and texture peculiarities of the formation give the opportunity to classify  they as special type of sediment-volcanogenic formation, which formed as a result of differentiation ophiolite magmagenezis.

Typomorphic genetic peculiarities of the epigenetic calcite from monomineral vein deposits in terrigene rocks of various age among some tectonic structures of Ukrainian Carpathians are depicted on the base of the obtained results of their structure parameters, temperature and phisico-chemical mineral-forming conditions. Two temperature intervals of mineral formation (two temperature stages of fluid intake) are at least distinguished using the decripitation method of fluid inclusions in minerals. There is a temperature-age break between them what can be caused by tectonic factor. Fluid inclusions containing great water amount from the calcite in Peninska zone and stryjska series are determined and at the same time the shypotski deposits are characterized by the water absence with the highest gas impregnation as a proof of their formation at consedareble depths with significant high pressures. Mineral vein content as well as ratio of volatiles in fluid inclusions testify about vein formation from carbon dioxide-methane carbonate-calcic hydroterm of engidatogene type. It is shown a possibility of the determination of age and relative depths of vein mineralogenesis, reconstruction of oxidation-reduction situation, fixing of tectonic dislocations, thus and argument estimation about prospectiveness with respect to oil and gas presence in deposits of various age within the region.

Key words: inclusions in minerals, calcite, veinlets, mineralogenesis, fluid regime, sedimentary strata, Folded Carphatians.
