1. Geology of the Lviv area
Geological excursion Geology of the Lviv area. One day geological excursion. Short characteristic of tectonics of the Easteuropean craton, stratigraphy of the Cretaceous and Neogene deposits. Geomorpholofical elements of the Lviv area.
2. Geological excursion Geology of the Outer Ukrainian Carpathians (Sukil river valley) One day geological excursion. Geological cross section of the main tectonic units of the Western Ukraine - Easteuropean craton, the Ukrainian Carpathian foredeep and the Outer Ukrainian Carpathians. It will be the possibility to visit several outcrops and quarries with platform cover, molasses deposits of the Ukrainian Carpathian foredeep, flysch comlex of the Outer Ukrainian Carpathians. Significant part of the excursion will be paid to sedimentological and structural peculiarities of the mentioned complexes.
